What is Skool Boiz? Skool Boiz is a t-shirt line that focuses social, economic, political and consciousness issues.
What is it all about? It’s about providing people with an alternative way to express themselves through what they wear.
When did this idea get started? Skool Boiz began as an idea while I was in college back in the late 90’ s, but it really didn’t get off the ground until about 2003. Our first shirt was “War is Peace”, a take off of George Orwell’s book 1984.
Is Skool Boiz a Non-profit organization? No, we are a for profit company. We support many other non-profit and social organizations through monetary donations and by donating apparel.
Your shirts are $19.00. Isn’t that a bit steep in this economy? Have you ever paid $3.50 for a cup of coffee or $10.00 for a six- pack? Well, no it’s not the same, but something are just worth the money. However, if you really fell a particular shirt and are on a budget, contact us, maybe we can work something out to get you the shirt.
What are so special about your shirts? Well, first of all the shirts are not made in sweatshops, which means that people are not being exploited. This is very important to us. How can we provide a product that expresses consciousness on the backs of those being exploited? There are other brands that sell for almost twice as much that use sweatshop t-shirts. We have decided to pay a little more for our blanks, take a smaller profit margin and provide a product that we believe in.
Who is doing the song “Skool Boiz” that you have on your web page? It is by T.K. You can find other songs by him on his MySpace.
If I have a shirt I want to print can you do that? Yes we do contract print jobs. Go to the screen Printing page and let us know what you would like. If we can’t do it we will point you into the direction of somebody who can.
